In Memory of

We would like to take a moment to remember all the wonderful dogs we have lost of the years. It’s never easy to lose a best friend, but it just gives you a chance to make a new one. Each and every one of these unique and loving dogs are missed dearly by their loving owners, and us here at Pawz. It’s hard to say goodbye, but their spirits live on…

And tears in my eyes
After all these years
We must say goodbye

One last hug, one last kiss
You have no idea
How much you’ll be missed

They say
Memories are golden
Well maybe that is true
I never wanted memories
I only wanted you …

Things We Can Learn From a Dog

Run, romp and play daily.

Never pretend to be something you’re not.

Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.

Eat with gusto and enthusiasm.

Take naps and stretch before rising.

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

Let others know when they’ve invaded your territory.

Be loyal.

When it’s in your best interest, practice obedience.

If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle gently.

Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.

On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.

When you’re happy, dance around and wag your entire body.

No matter how often you’re scolded, don’t buy into the guilt thing and pout….run right back and make friends.

Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
